The day job
I'm a software engineer ii at General Motors, working on enterprise Java and .NET applications that support manufacturing engineering. That means backend features, legacy refactoring, cloud deployments, CI/CD, and production support — full-cycle ownership of systems Industrial Engineers and operations teams depend on daily.
I've served as technical owner for multiple applications, led tech debt remediation, and collaborated with senior architects on modernization efforts. The work is a mix of deep debugging (auth loops, session affinity, OAuth flows) and shipping features that measurably save people time on the line.
Background
I graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a bachelor of science in computer science in December 2023 (GPA 3.5) and joined General Motors that same year.
